I’m about 19 years old and have been skiing for about 17 years and am really big into racing and I have sort of a stupid question. What does someone have to do training wise and preparation wise to maybe tryout for the ski team, if that is even possible?
The U.S. Ski Team make selections by FIS points. The best way to go about getting looked at is to train hard with a local ski club and start racing FIS races to create a point profile. If things go well you might even be able to start doing some North American Cup races which is a good way to get better FIS points. Good luck, Megan!
